I have programmed the freqs in radio ref. But can't pickup anything. Ed

Where are you located Ed? Their transmitter site is on campus and if you are to the East of them, the signal is blocked by the Box Springs Grade near the 215 FWY. I have confirmed they are rebanded and the talkgroup ID's are the same. (I was listening to Hillary visit.)

As a side note, UCR PD will be switching to PSEC along with RPD come the first of July so if you can hear them enjoy listening while you can! From what I know the other campus services will remain on the old 800 system, just PD will be going to PSEC.

Ok that's it then I'm in moval. All riverside police is moving to psec. In july. Is riverside fire moving over to.?

Moval is a huge hole for the UC system.

I thought they were going to PSEC like every other dept. Maybe that is the problem?

Maybe they have gone to PSEC already is why he can't hear them any more. I moved out of Riverside and can't hear any of that from my new location, so can't confirm,

Oh, I understand what you were referring to.

No, they have not switched over yet.... July 1 is probably the target date. They are currently still operating on the Type II analog system.
