Obama enroute to Palm Springs

President Obama just lifted off from Andrews AB on his way to Palm Springs with his family . He said last week that he was looking for Sunshine.ABS 8 shows "82-8000 Boeing VC-25A (Air Force One)". I don't believe that it is AF 1 anymore. We should have some Bigfoot activity in a few hours.

1736 local, VC-25 has been circling March ARB for last half hour, showing on mode S, no voice traffic yet. Passed over my house a bit ago, heard it up in the clouds, no visual due to foul weather.

At 5:45 PM he landed at March ARB. Bad weather at Palm Springs Airport and they do not allow IFR. Great video from Channel 7 who has their Helicopter near the base.

Heard VC-25 SAM 44 on 127.650 mhz, "clear to land, runway 32." Also news helo TV7.

Is it still there? Might be tempted to drive up and see it depart.
