I've been monitoring this fire since it started. It's been mostly an air show in inaccessible terrain. Although I haven't confirmed the actual use assignment for some of these, all of the frequencies below are being used on this fire.
122.85 This is a common a/a contact freq used by the fire a/c and news media.
122.925 Check in for the fire fighting a/c.
122.975 Fire a/c.
123.975 San Bernardino tanker base.
128.225 Aircraft "briefing freq".
135.575 Air tactics.
135.875 Air tactics
164.5 CNF - this appears to be the input to, or a simulcast of, 171.1375.
166.2625 Dozers?
166.5625
166.825 Fire a/c. Air to ground?
167.1125 CNF Trabuco Ranger District.
168.075 NIFC command 3 PL131.8.
168.6 Water tenders? PL156.7.
168.65 USFS National flight following.
170.5 AirCo.
171.1375 CNF admin net (ID'ing as command) PL103.5.
171.425 CNF forest net PL103.5.
If you have a spare radio, search 163 ~ 172. I've picked up a few of these frequencies doing that.
