Not sure. I know they at least have an impound yard in Temecula because of the laws regarding PPI's.

You mean the law that basically says you can only impound cars within a 10-mile radius of your yard?
(At least that's how I understand it)...even though I've been dispatching for 6.5 years, I still don't know everything. Probably better that way...
I think Sunn Hills is actually based--or at least they do have another yard--in Sage, south of Hemet. Dunno what freqs they use, though. My father-in-law knows somebody over there, I'll *try* to see if I can't find something out for you guys.
Over here in bore-ville, Gosch uses 157.515; DJ's uses Nextel. Dunno what Clark's or Desert uses. Seems like everybody uses Nextel nowadays. My company doesn't, even though some drivers have them.

I have seen 461.6375 listed for Desert Towing. This shows as LCN-1 on LTR Analyzer. There is another freq (LCN-5) but I don't know what it is.
Talkgroups logged:
0-01-025 = Desert Tow?
0-01-023 - tow company? Hemet street names
Here are 2 other systems that are worth trying. I have posted my notes regarding Riverside area tow companies on them.
Mobile Relay Associates LTR (Santiago Peak #2)
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=5458
1-20-108 - Tow company; mentioned Perris and RSO
1-18-172 - Tow; destinations Canyon Crest, Riverside Chrysler, Inland Empire Tow, Walter's, Moss Bros San Bernardino
Comm Enterprises LTR
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=5460
1-12-009 - Tow; Corona and Riverside areas
1-12-052 - Tow; talked about car with Hemet PD forensics notice, meet at Perris x Ramona, tow at 4th and Redlands, Dispatcher possibly located in Perris

Thats the one..
Alot of Security Companies are using Nextels also. Although there are a few that are still using radios, all the companies I have worked for in the past 8-10 years have used Nextel, excluding some on-site communications.

Well, I just confirmed 461.6375 as Desert, as they dispatched a call to the mobile home park "across from the shop".

Hopefully that's their home channel, so--if the system isn't *too* busy like ours--then I'll be able to hear 90% of their traffic just by monitoring that one freq, since I don't have an LTR-capable scanner.
Mobile Relay Associates: Dunno who the other compaines are that shares our system. I'll have to do some listening to the other freqs.
Since the other LTR is listed as Sierra Peak, dunno how a company in Hemet can be using it, as Sierra doesn't cover out here too well.
