As expected, the Menifee units (RSO) have their own callsign designator now (as of 10/1) since it became a city. They appear to be using 50s series numbers.

I think it's much easier to tell people we live in Menifee instead of Sun City (what? Sun City? The retirement community?)

Heh, thats funny. Until now, my address was in Romoland, but my ZIP often came up on company computers as Sun City. So I would tell people I live in the Romoland/Sun City/Menifee area.

I thought the cityhood wasn't taking place until January 1st? Also... I thought the voted upon name was "Menifee Valley"... I guess some things have changed since I last looked into it. Either way... it's definately easier than saying the Romoland/Sun City/Menifee area.

Anyone been to the new shopping center in Menifee? Red Robin is finally OPEN!
Menifee RSO units love messing with people around there, they were actually in my work (Red Robin) last night because of some guest getting all crazy on the staff... ha

We're planning on stopping by and checking it out when I go to pick up my check on Tuesday. Maybe we'll stop in at Red Robin and say hi.

Best Buy normally uses 467.925 D506 (this has been true for Murrieta, Riverside, MoVal). The Target across the freeway uses 461.0375 D026 for their Channel 1 (Customer Assistance Paging), so it may be the same for the new place. I have no idea what Lowe's uses. Home Depot at Perris Crossing uses 467.7625 D065 for Operations/Customer Assistance Paging. Here is a good list of common retail frequencies:

I don't normally scan retail stores except to identify the frequency, so let us know what you find

Danny, no prob. We didn't pick up my check until 1800 last night and then on our way home drove through the lot to see what was open... Saw all the cars at SuperTarget for their unannounced friends and family opening at 1700--we arrived at 2000--so we spent about 90 minutes walking around there. Looks bigger--and we asked and was told it was "a little"--than the about-a-year-old SuperTarget in MoVal.
Brandon: Didnt' have a scanner with us @ ST, but we'll bring one next time and let ya know. Also--maybe I told you before or not, I don't remember--but the Target in Hemet also uses 461.0375.
