I can recieve this channel when I am in the Banning/Cabazon area. When I return back to the Hemet/ San Jacinto Area I am not recieving it. Is anyone hearing it in The Hemet/San Jacinto area?

I live in Hemet down by the DMV and I'm barely hearing it right now. I'm guessing that I'm hearing it off of the Mt. David site, as you guys are. I wonder why the site down here is offline. It really came in handy not having to bring my trunked scanner with us when we're out in the valley.
We're going to be up by the courthouse--where the site is/used to be (our pediatrician is in the parking lot north of there, so it's not like I'll be some weirdo sitting in the parking lot with radios)--tomorrow, so I'll bring both scanners with us, and see if I can't find my frequency counter, too, and I'll let you guys know what I find out.

I can confirm that it is weak in Hemet also. I wonder if this is a localized intentional outage due to law enforcements issues at the Soboba reservation?

Didn't even think of that, but it makes perfect sense.
