The following talkgroups have been logged on the Riverside Sheriff EDACS trunking system that are listed as unknown/unconfirmed. I am listing these for reference and welcome any information as to their usage.

294 (02-046) Radio affiliates but no voice heard.

310 (02-066) Possibly East Command 32 based on affiliation order. Trunker showed denied id for Palm Desert radio that keyed up.

338 (02-102) DA Surveillance Detail. Referred to as '20-DA EC' over the air.

341 (02-105) Temporary talkgroup: Earthquake drill related. MH # callsigns. Palm Desert, Corona, Moreno Valley shelters.

342 (02-106) Temporary talkgroup: Robert-1, Traffic-18, Traffic-53, Control. "Basketball game in gym". Last heard activity in Dec 2006.

360 (02-130) Unknown voice: "How do you copy Sheriff's dispatch". Affiliations are mostly radios that have been seen on the Jail Transportation channel.

375 (02-147) Logged multiple times and "falls into place" between 21 and 23 under Trunker affiliations log.

380 (02-154) Radio Tech id's have been logged.

389 (03-005) Talk about computer equip, servers, printer supplies. Sounds like the IT Dept for Riverside County Offices.

403 (03-023) Radio tests

566 (04-066) Logged court HT radio id's. Unk usage.

593 (04-101) DA channel? User told to switch to channel 10.

594 (04-102) DA unit identifier. Trunker shows DA radio id's.

626 (04-142) DA Surveillance detail. Called it 20-CDF after switching from 20-DA EC so all units could hear each other.

1126 (08-126) Open carrier with feedback.

1589 (12-065) Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority. NRM radio id's. Possibly secondary talkgroup.

1592 (12-070) Code Enforcement

1594 (12-072) Code Enforcement

1597 (12-075) Code Enforcement usage. 'X-ray' units.

1633 (12-121) "West Talkgroup" EMS 8 from AMR Riverside and Health DOC for radio check

1634 (12-122) "Central Talkgroup" UPR8 calling Hemet and RCRMC Hospitals.

1635 (12-123) "South Talkgroup" UPR8 calling Menifee and Inland Valley

1636 (12-124) Dept of Public Health Desert Talkgroup?

1637 (12-125) Referred to this as "Countywide Talkgroup"; Health DOC with roll call for each hospital in the county.

1638 (12-126) Pod MD1, Tem Pod IC callsigns heard.

1639 (12-127) Referred to as "Mercy Air Talkgroup". Mercy Air 3 giving desert hospitals patient reports.

I had 879 pop-up this morning...(super fast and didnt hear anything else)

am i just missing that on the main page or is this an "unknown"?

Possibly this could be the reason why I am getting a lot of tones,beeps and other strange sounds when listening to RSO .It was doing it yesterday and now again today.I thought it might just be my mobile scanner but i'm hearing the same noises on my base unit.They are both programed identical.Is it just me or are the rest of you hearing the same?Pro-97 mobile and Pro-2096 base.Thanks

02-165 OR 02-065 dont remember which one i kept hearing, also 04-087

02-165 comes up no hits, id out of range
02-065 West Command. The MoVal SET units are using it as their car-to-car lately.
04-087 is the SAFE Team
06-137 is a Desert talkgroup don't know who though.

Why do I randomly hear 04-146 (SD Sheriff I think it is listed as) just key up multiple times between 3am-4am almost every morning.... Any idea?

I have no idea. This happens from time-to-time (I get the same thing).
Last year I heard voice activity on that group. Riverside Sheriff called San Diego Sheriff and El Cajon PD. Later El Cajon PD replied and said they were on South Tac 4. Must have been linked with the RCS somehow but not much activity since.

I had no idea that EMS and hospitals were on this TRS. I knew about the RVC Jail Hospital but no others. I also always thought that RVC FIRE was primarily on this system because they have 04-142 as a talkgroup which is simply labeled as Riverside County Fire. I didn't know they had a VHF system until a little later when I realized that was the reason I did not hear RVC FIRE.

Usually I always assume that VHF/UHF freqs are no longer of use.
