You all probably know this, but for those who may not, Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies use private channels to communicate and talk about their experiences with stopping people, going to calls, ect; They do this using a feature of EDACS called I-Call They get a little carried away with it sometimes, and it's pretty funny to listen to. Now, I would assume that they don't know that people can hear them, and I just wanted to confirm that. Do they really think that nobody can hear them?

Some do know that I-call, or "individual" as it's referred to, can be easily monitored. Others are uninformed. And then there are those that don't care.
