Found this on a random search. Although I don't hear it all the time, it appears to be repeating AMR ambulance traffic from 155.295.
Is anyone else hearing this?

I am hearing it but not very strong here. Only 3 s-units on the Uniden

Here is what I have for AMR in the UHF band:
463.0375, 463.1375, 463.1625, 463.1125, 468.1125 S, 463.0625, 463.1875, Indio Operations 855.4625. I can't find anyone using the freq you mentioned, maybe it's an image or something?

Being strangely intrigued, I programmed this into my HH and hooked up the outside antenna, I'm hearing it here in Riverside near Mt. Rubidoux. Hearing patient transports and lots of tones. No signal strength meter, a little scratchy but completely readable. It's repeating 155.295 110.9. At 0927 on 07/25/2010.

outside antenna I get 4 bars on the signal meter & very clear by RPD Lincoln station. Hearing units in Moreno Valley now.

Thanks, guys, at least now I know I'm not going daft. It would be interesting to know the purpose and location of this repeater. Does anyone know where the local AMR dispatch office is? Didn't it used to be on Arlington Ave in Riverside, just south of Hwy 91?

Dispatch used to be by the side of the 215 Freeway north of the 60 on E. La Cadena, but I think it moved. The address on their website is 879 Marlborough Ave. but not sure if that's where it is or just offices. They also have a facility at 15th St & Vine east of the 91. I would think I would get better reception downtown if it were one of these, since they're all north side.

According to Radio Reference, no one is licensed for 452.6875 in CA.
