empire fire

i have seen these guys handing around for 3 days now. What i have seen is a tender, brush eng, and a utility unit towing a trailer. Who are these guy and where are they from?

This is the first time I have heard of them but more then likely they are probably a private fire company that is hired by insurance companies to "gel" and protect houses during vegetation fires.

why would they be out in the middle of no mans land were brush fire do not happen, (Knock on Wood). I have been here for going on 3 yrs and i think the biggest brush fire was like maybe 100 arce. That was a fire that burn on both side of the colo river here in Blythe Ca
