what are the talk group numbers on 17 & 18 an what is the ch. for information an talk group numbers or do they use mdt for running for warrants or car tags ect. big ed

Tac 17 TG is 02-121, Tac 18 is 02-122. Running 10-28 & 29 is XCNTY 5 & 6, TGs 02-062 & 02-063. Field deputies can run the same stuff on the MDC (and much more) but on a traffic stop usually use voice. Is that what you wanted to know?

Tac 17 and 18 are always AA-121. So, desert tacs 17 and 18 would be 06-121 and 06-122. Not just the 02 prefix. Sp1989 did a great job of explaining it, however.

You are right, if you are monitoring a different system, the first 2 numbers will be different, but I was answering Big Ed, so I gave the West system info, since that's where he is.
