THERES NO POINT IN GETTING A NEW SCANNER THEN I GOT A GOOD DEAL THEN WITH THAT PRO-94 1000 CH. TILL THEY SWITCH OVER. THANKS GUYS

Pendleton and March are P-25 digital, those scanners aren't cheap, even used ones. ERICA is no man's land, and OC is difficult to hear without a giant outside antenna, and who cares about them, anyway? =) Security companies are good for entertainment and those are all easily picked up with the lowliest of scanners, as long as they have 800mhz, Ed is already looking good once RSO disappears here shortly.

ONCE RSO GOES BY,BY, THERE IS NO WAY TO FIND OUT WHATS GOING ON. I THINK FIRE IS ALSO GOING TO NEW RADIO SYS. THIER IS AMR OR CHP THATS BORING I THINK I WILL JUST STICK WITH THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR MY FUN. I JUST PICKED UP THAT PRO-94 WORKS GREAT. Fire Depts will stick to VHF as it is now. They will only use the new system for data.

I love listening to Cal Fire, too. When I first moved to the I.E. almost 30 years ago, they were one of the first things I discovered. I thought it was cool that I could hear the dispatching to addresses that were way out in the desert somewhere.

I KNOW I DO TO I MOVED TO RIVERSIDE IN 1976 I HAD WARDS TUNEABLE RADIO WITH A.M. F.M. AIR,P.S. I REMEMBER HEARING RSO BUT COULD NOT FIND RCFD TILL ONE DAY I WAS SREACHING AROUND AN FOUND IT IN THE 150.000 AREA I WAS LOOKING AROUND 154.000 BUT I FOUND IT. IVE BEEN HEARING CONUTY FIRE SINCE. And now they have the EDACS system and soon the PSEC.

does the scanner pro link work for a pro-94 guys i downloaded it yesterday whating for the cord in the mail. sorry for bugging you guys. big ed
