I'm hearing what sounds like an electric utility on 46.24. Is this skip, or does anyone know who might be using this freq in socal? I'm not hearing skip on any other low band frequencies, and I'm currently searching the 33MHz section for activity.

@ 800:

Thanks for the list of freqs. I have most of them but have never heard anything except for the following:
32.015 Riverside City Electric Utility (this might be 32.01. I just found it a couple of months ago on a search, haven't been able to monitor often enough to nail it down).
45.28 Riverside City Water Dept
47.72 Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District
48.02 Riverside City Electric Utility

They also have a couple of VHF High and UHF frequencies they use for city services.

No problem.

I question the 32 MHz find. 32 MHz is US Government (NTIA), not non-Government (FCC) use. You might be hearing a mix.

I think it's a strong signal for Riv City...nothing listed for 46.24 in Radio Reference, and I have heard Riverside's PW on low band in the past.

Could be some overlaying that interferes. I know 46.36 is Avalon Fire.
