I can't imagine that the background investigation for CDF will DQ any Hemet guys, they will likely benefit from this.

Unless Riverside County shit cans all the Hemet FD staff and makes them start from scratch to apply for jobs they already had. Riverside County does that kind of crap. Assholes....just ask Perris PD.

So then the city's four (or five) stations will be renumbered?

CAL FIRE is not Riverside County. ;)

All of the captains and engineers will come over. The problem is with the firefighters. HFD doesn't have a paramedic program. RVC Fire does. Over the years, HFD have hired firefighters who are paramedics but not working as a paramedic because HFD does not have a paramedic program. The paramedics will be transitioned. The ones in question will be the non-paramedic firefighters. Unknown if the county has enough positions available for those guys. Only the top brass knows that answer. The transition date will be 7/1/15. One of the stipulations of the contract will be that HFD have a paramedic program in place prior to the transition.
