Q's about LAPD

Post by cvrules90 »

1. Channel 36 on their UHF radio system is for Security Services. What are they responsible for?

2. Are the talkaround (not tactical) frequences for each division simplex or repeated?

They are security officers that work for the City of Los Angeles, they used to be a separate agency, but I just checked and as of 2012, they were absorbed by LAPD. They are not LAPD officers, and have a different type of badge which says security officer on them.
