I am leaving on Wednesday for Tempe, AZ for work (Installing some new fitting rooms in 2 different Macy's). Will be gone for 2 weeks!

I will be driving down the I-10 all the way. Anyone have any advice on what I should monitor on the way? (Best part is I am not driving, plenty of time to SCAN!) Give me some ideas!

P.S. Have we confirmed the Blythe and Desert Systems for RSO?

Here are some freqs to try...

Blythe RSO system: Dec 1041 / AFS 08-021 - Colorado River Primary
Blythe PD - 158.955
CHP 42.440 (Base) and 42.280 (Mobile)
RRU-3 151.130
Support 5 - 154.145 (Blythe area)
Support 6 - 154.445 (Desert Center area / west of Blythe)
Support 9 - 154.175 (Colorado River / north of Blythe)
171.675 - Joshua Tree NP
155.310 - La Paz County SO
154.400 - La Paz County Fire
460.400 - Arizona DPS (Highway Patrol)

I have conflicting information for Blythe Ambulance. Someone in Blythe told me they use 151.085 127.3 PL but another guy told me they operate on 158.895 (unknown PL). I won't be out there until next month to confirm, so it would be awesome if you or somebody can verify which one 8-) Info for that area is hard to come by and much of it has been submitted by other folks.

Have a good trip.

For the Coachella Valley I would monitor: RSO Desert, Palm Springs PD (trunking system), Palm Springs FD, DHS PD, Indio PD, Cat City PD/Fire found in the database. Fire is dispatched on RRU-3 and they use Support 9 in the Whitewater/DHS/North PSP area and Support 10 in the Coachella Valley. I'm probably missing something so feel free to add.
