I previously had 453.3MHz confirmed as Riverside Community College PD using PL192.8. It's been awhile since I monitored them, but today I heard "Rancho Fire, Engine (XXX) on campus". They were requesting whomever they were talking with, to meet them at the gym. It sounded like they were on a call. After listening on & off for awhile, the main user seems to be a campus law enforcement agency, using DAVID and PAUL call signs. I'm not getting enough info in their transmissions to ID the campus. The vehicle registration checks seem to be mostly coming back to southern San Bernardino County locations.
Questions:
Is Riverside Community College still using this freq and PL?
If not, what are they using?
If this wasn't RCC that I was hearing today, who is now using this freq and PL?

Re: 453.3 User
As soon as I posted that message I heard a little more ID info:
The same dispatcher (192.8) is ID'ng as "Cal State" and now talking with BAKER and LINCOLN units. One of the units was at Kaiser Fontana and returning to the campus.
I also heard a unit report a student had fainted. The dispatcher said San Bernardino FD was being notified.
This is definitely CSU San Bernardino campus. Can anyone confirm when they started using this freq?

Re: 453.3 User
Cal State San Bernardino Police also provide dispatching for Chaffey Community College District Police, which is probably why you heard a Rancho fire unit. Chaffey police dispatch is a talkgroup on the San Bernardino County System 6/7. As of a few months ago they were patching this talkgroup to Cal State's conventional 800 MHz dispatch channel so that both channels could hear dispatch and unit traffic from the other channel.
Re: 453.3 User
I am curious to know what frequency RCC poilce are using. 453.3 has been it for a long time. Before that it was 460.45, maybe they went back?
Re: 453.3 User
Any updates on this? I receive 453.300 but have heavy QRM from some type of data signal on that freq which blocks out other reception.

Re: 453.3 User
well lately I've been doing a lot more HF monitoring, so guess it spills over into my wording
Re: 453.3 User
Does anyone know what frequency RCCPD has switched to? I have tried searching the 450-460mhz police band with no success.
